A "word chart" of comments in this book would have 'relaxing' as the largest and it is so easy to see why.
Our second visit, blessed with great weather this time and thoroughly enjoyed.
So well equipped. comfortable and in a really beautiful setting.
We haven't travelled far but have enjoyed trips to Aberaeron and strata Florida, as well as lovely walks,

Referring back to Nov'13, we arrived with the threat of the great storm.
This time we had the storm (Hannah) last night!
Very atmospheric in this lovely spot in the Cambrian mountains, (safely inside)
We have revisited many favourite haunts.
A special treat was a visit with Yola to the WI meeting for a talk on birds of prey
with four live owls, ranging in size from small to a tawny owl.
Following this was a great WI supper.
As always thanks to Yola and Kevin for making our holiday so special.

We have had the most relaxing week ever! x
To wake up to those views every morning has been absolutely amazing.
The lovely host have been attentive when needed, nice touch with the cake, wine & sweets, lots to do and plenty to see.
Weather has been good to us, cold but sunny.
Cottage has been home from home, with all the ammenities needed.
Nice to watch the birds whilst eating breakfast, seeing the nuthatch and goldfinch for the 1st time and also a close up sight of a woodpecker,
enjoyed them that much that when the seeds ran out, asked if Yola would fill it up again, which she was only too happy to do.
Would love to come back again, but with so much of the British coast to see I probably won't make it back, but has to have been
1 of my most favourite holidays.
Thanks Kevin & Yola

Just back from a 3 day stay at the cottage and firstly I must say that it was the best welcome I've had anywhere and very friendly, once entering it didn't stop with a lovely bottle of wine and a home made cake which was delicious. So clean inside and I could quite happily live there forever lol.
Absolutely beautiful surroundings and views to die for..... We were so lucky as we never saw a cloud the whole time we was there with lovely blue skies, a bait fresh but what do you expect at this time of year. We will definitely be returning soon.
Big thanks to kevin & yola for making our stay a great one

Roger mason,

Fantastic cottage to stay in to get away from it all. Very peaceful and relaxing. Yola and Kevin were perfect hosts, nothing too much trouble. Cottage very well equipt. Definitely recommend. Perfect

Claire Bullivant,

Just back home from a few days staying in Pan-teg Cottage. Superb accommodation, Yola & Kevin have thought of everything a visitor could need and even arranged the two hottest days this year for us (this service free-of-charge but, I guess, can't be guaranteed!).

The Cottage is fitted with all modern appliances, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Gorgeous grounds to walk in - our two cavvies, Rex & Harry, loved the variety of open grassland (thoughtfully planned) and wooded areas which contained very many quirky features for the visitor to stumble across.

Yola and Kev were wonderful hosts, allowing privacy but without ignoring us and our cavvies.

We will definitely be back again in the not too distant future.

Thanks a bundle. Kev & Jules.

Kevin & Julie,

Pant-Teg Bach
Just back from another enjoyable stay in Bach cottage with our two dogs. The cottage is just lovely, warm and comfortable and equipped with everything you could possibly need. Unfortunately the weather was not too kind to us this time but certainly didn't spoil our pleasure of beautiful , peaceful PantTeg and the entertaining bird feeders on our balcony. We counted 15 different species visiting constantly from dawn to dusk, including pair of great spotted woodpecker and pair of Jays. It's wonderful to see them so close up.
The gardens are just lovely and a credit to Yola and Kevin's hard work creating them - and a bonus is they don't mind the dogs in the woodland part!
Sorry Yola, forgot to say thankyou for the goodies before we left, so "Thanks for the goodies, Yola - cake was especially yummy". See you again soon,
Jean,Nigel,Scruffy and Mini

Jean & Nigel Reeves,

Pant-Teg Bach
What can one say that has not already been said about the accommodation and the most welcoming couple who are the custodians of his beautiful place.
Yola and Kevin are thankfully prepared to share their lives with visitors such as ourselves. The cottage, the decor and the facilities are of the highest standard one could wish for. Topsey and Colin(the two Jack Russells)loved the woodland area to explore and for us sitting by the pond on a warm spring evening listening to the silence occasionally broken by the evening chorus of birdsong was an absolute joy.
Thank you for making our Easter break a memorable one.

Just had a lovely few days here with our two dogs. The cottage is delightful, beautifully decorated and furnished, very comfortable and warm, and with beautiful views. The patio bird feeder is a hive of activity all day long and highlights for us were Jay, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Nuthatch and Siskin, with Red Kite overhead. Yola and Kevin's garden is wonderful, complete with goats, chickens and a turkey, Large pond and woodland walk. Would recommend Pant Teg to anyone. Also highly recommend the B & B having stayed several times. Yola's breakfasts are second to none and she's always ready with tea and home baking on arrival. Our stay was for a family home to buy in the surrounding areas.
Pant-Teg provided much more than just a base.
It was a welcome thought to know we would be returning to a warm, peaceful, relaxing place after a very long and sometimes stressful day.
Would definitely return if we need to look more.
This lovely clean & comfortable cottage with its special touches of added extras (favourite choices welcome pack etc) made our stay very memorable.
Many thanks to you both xx

Pant-Teg Bach is a superb cottage for 2.
The website doesn't do it justice.
So long as you don't mind driving up & down narrow lanes this place is a must.
We have stayed in lots of cottages over the years & I can honestly say this is the best.
The welcome pack of home-made cakes, wine, chocs & eggs is so thoughtful.
The cottage is so well equipped & CLEAN & that makes all the difference.
The bed is so big & comfortable.
We had wood-peckers, jays & siskins on the feeder outside the door & red kites flying above.
The gardens are a joy to walk through as Yola works so hard (& so does Kevin!!)
What more can I say other than WE WILL RETURN 1 day.Pant-Teg Bach

The Pant Teg Bach accommodation
Needs some super adulation
Through the windows what a view
Flowers, birds and hillsides too.
Though the windows the garden with flowers,
Birds coming to feed entertain you for hours.
Everything provided, all you need
To cook, relax, watch TV or read.
Comfy beds, clean sheets and soft duvets too
A refreshing shower to transform you.
After a day so very busy
When sight seeing and cooking leaves you in a tizzy.
BUT relax, soak up this peaceful place,
Step aside from life's rat race,
Chill, unwind and feel at home
Even turn off your mobile phone. (in fact tell your family and friends there's no signal anyway!!!!)
We visited Pant Teg at Easter time,
This wonderful place suited us just fine,
Up in the hills, the middle of nowhere,
Yet you discover, not far from anywhere.
The weather...well you can't pick and choose
But if it's too bad there's a lounge you can use.

So we returned with our Dad to show him the sights
In a ground floor room we tucked him up at nights,
Kevin and Yola loaned us their intercom mic,
Just so we could check he was alright.
We all had breakfasts...don't mention it
Fabulous food but it don't keep you fit!!!
Cereals, yoghurt and fruit as much as you can eat
Followed by a cooked breakfast, no mean feat.
Dad thought the place perfect, very clean and neat
A perfect place for a holiday treat.
He loved the furniture and the cosy bed
And after Yola's breakfasts he said he was well fed.
Out in the grounds chickens, turkey and goats too
All waiting their turn to greet and be fussed by you.
Then to my absolute consternation
Valentino the turkey wanted a conversation!!
Further up lots of trees and a pool can be found
Resplendent with water lilies, and fish can be seen as you walk around. (Dad loved it).
There's a chair or two so sit in contemplation
The abundance of quiet brings relaxation.
If the night is clear go out very late at night
Because the stars can be seen shining so very bright.
This time a wonderful experience, and my first by far,
Was when I saw a wonderful shooting star.
Another experience, I really must tell
Is the quiet of day and the night time silence as well (apart from Yola laughing!!!)
So you really must come and give it a try,
Beware, when you leave the peace, 'cos you just might cry.

Sue, Ken and Frank ,

B&B
Truly a lovely b & b, nice, wonderful.
A magical place to relax and spend time in nature.

B&B
Somewhere in the heart of deepest darkest Wales there's a place,
Far away from from the human rat race.
There's a B&B called Pant Teg, surrounded by trees
We want to go back there .................please!!!
The rooms are special, to enjoy yourself you can't fail,
with such attention to the finest detail.
Coffee and cup cakes to start you off
with a little chat as you sit and scoff.
Fruit on the table choc's by the bed
all provided by Yola of Pant Teg.
The breakfasts are sumptious but watch your waist
then sample the evening food WHAT A GREAT TASTE!
Out in the garden or a walk to the pond
to listen for birds of which we are fond.
Goats, chickens and a turkey, even a stream,
it has to be a country lovers dream.
A lovlier place you will not find
with rest for soul, spirit and mind.
Not far from anywhere but hidden away
don't change the roads let them stay that way.

Thanks for a great and restful time
We'll be back
